Smell the flowers

As I was driving into work today through a back alley, I saw this beautiful camellia tree on the side of the road, and dozen of camellias that fell from the tree just scattered on the ground. Somehow I felt compelled to get out of my car, picked up some of them to bring to the office to share with my coworkers, and to home for my daughter who jumpped up and hugged me when she saw them.

To the little beauties that fell from the tree: your life is definitely not over. You made a lot of people’s day sweeter and brighter, so we thank you.
