For three years, I’ve committed to at least twice a week circuit training with a trainer. When I first started going to the gym, my goal was merely to lose my extra “belly” after two pregnancies. After achieving that goal, my main focus now is to build muscles and increase my cardiovascular fitness.
The results from regular strength training are rewarding! I am more energetic both in personal and in professional life, my clothes fit better and I feel physically stronger, which is a good thing when you need to keep up with two young children. My next goal is to add one more workout every week, increase flexibility training at home and be more disciplined in my diet.
We will talk about what worked for me in the next couple of weeks in terms of workout routine and diet that helped me lost the stubborn 10 lbs. For now, here is a form-fitting outfit and not long ago, I thought I would never be able to pull it off again.
